1921:Sturmabteilung

SturmabteilungThe Nazi Party held a large public meeting in the Munich Hofbräuhaus. After Hitler had spoken for some time the meeting erupted into a melee in which a small company of Sturmabteilung(SA) thrashed the opposition. The Nazis called this event Saalschlacht (meeting hall battle) and it assumed legendary proportions in SA lore with the passage of time. Thereafter, the group was officially known as the Sturmabteilung.

1960:Kasakela Chimpanzee Community

JaneGoodallThe Kasakela chimpanzee community is an inhabited community of wild eastern chimpanzees that lives in Gombe National Park near Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. At the Kasakela Chimpanzee Community in Tanzania, Dr. Jane Goodall  observed a chimpanzee using a grass stalk to extract termites from a termite hill, the first recorded case of tool use by animals.

1995:Yitzhak Rabin  assassination

Yitzhak_RabinThe assassination of Yitzhak Rabin took place on November 4, 1995 (12th of Marcheshvan, 5756 on the Hebrew Calendar) at 21:30, at the end of a rally in support of the Oslo Accords at the Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv. The assassin, an Israeli Zionist terrorist named Yigal Amir, strenuously opposed Rabin’s peace initiative and particularly the signing of the Oslo Accords.
